Looking for a challenge and decidedly taking the road less travelled, Joselyn Brown established Melbourne-based international consultancy Crimson Communications in April 2006. Founded on 13 years professional practice and now in its third year, Crimson Communications is a dedicated arts & entertainment consultancy grounded in marketing communications expertise garnered from the successful implementation of campaigns in Australia, U.K., U.S.A. and across the globe.

About the Director of Crimson Communications:

Brown has executed campaigns, locally and abroad, for hundreds of commercial and art house films at the point of theatrical, festival and DVD release.  She has worked on hundreds of album releases and arguably the biggest festivals in Australia (Melbourne International Arts Festival, Melbourne International Film Festival, Stereosonic Festivals, Solar Festival and We Love Sounds).  Brown, has direct and extensive experience working on one of the biggest film franchises in the world (James Bond ™) via her previous incarnation in London at Metro Goldwyn Mayer (M.G.M.), and under Crimson, she worked on Aussie icon Kenny at theatrical release.

On the academic front, Brown holds a M.A. in Communications (awarded by R.M.I.T. University, Australia) and Marketing diploma from Chartered Advertising and Marketing Foundation (UK). Brown’s full bio, including detail pre dating Crimson Communications, is available upon request.
